Please join us via webinar for A&WMA’s Central Texas Chapter’s meeting on Thursday, October 6th!

Topic: Greenhouse Gas Emissions Life-Cycle Comparison: Waste-to-Energy vs Landfilling (Case Study)

To address concerns from the public and better inform decisions regarding waste disposal, CDM Smith conducted a technical study to assess the environmental, social, and economic impacts that waste disposal at an waste-to-energy plant has as compared to two District-used landfills. The presentation will focus on the greenhouse gas (GHG) analysis portion of the study.

Speaker: Chris Campbell ENV SP, Environmental Scientist at CDM Smith

Chris Campbell is an environmental scientist and project technical leader with 12 years of environmental consulting experience, mainly focusing on sustainability and greenhouse gas (GHG) analyses, air quality permitting, compliance and dispersion modeling projects. He has a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University and a M.S. in Environmental Analysis from Rice University.
